First Look Mobile Ultrasound
FAQ
Answers to your keepsake ultrasound questions, from safety to timing and visit preparation.
What can I expect during a session?
Your session is a calm, unhurried moment designed for bonding. We dim the lights, get you comfortable, and guide you through each image on screen in real time. Depending on your package, you’ll see 2D or 3D/4D views of your baby, and everyone in the room shares the moment together. Sessions typically last 10 to 30 minutes.
How should I prepare for my visit?
Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment and stay well hydrated the morning of. Wear loose, comfortable clothing that gives easy access to your belly. A little natural sugar an hour beforehand often encourages baby to move and give you the best views. For mobile visits, simply have a cozy, quiet space ready and we’ll bring everything else.
Who can come with me?
Everyone you love is welcome. Partners, grandparents-to-be, siblings, and close friends are all invited to share the experience. Our in-home studio and mobile visits are designed to hold the people who matter most, so no one has to miss this first look.
How far along should I be?
We welcome expectant families from 8 to 40 weeks of pregnancy. For clear 3D and 4D facial imaging, the sweet spot is typically 20 to 32 weeks, when baby has enough definition and room to pose. Earlier sessions are wonderful for confirming milestones and gender, and later ones for those precious close-up features.
What types of sessions do you offer?
We offer 2D, 3D, and 4D imaging across a range of packages to suit different moments and budgets. 2D captures the classic profile, 3D reveals lifelike detail and features, and 4D brings baby to life in real-time motion. Every package can be enjoyed at our in-home studio or through a mobile visit to your door.
Do you come to my home or do I visit a studio?
The choice is yours. We bring the full experience to your home with our mobile service, or you can settle into our comfortable in-home studio. Both options serve the Roseville, CA area and deliver the same professional imaging and warm, personal attention.
Is keepsake ultrasound safe?
Keepsake ultrasound uses the same trusted technology relied upon in prenatal care, performed for bonding rather than diagnosis. We keep sessions comfortable and appropriate, and we always encourage you to continue your regular medical ultrasounds with your provider. Our sessions are a beautiful complement to your prenatal journey, not a replacement for it.
How do I book and pay?
Booking is simple. Reach out to request an appointment, tell us your preferred session type, package, and how far along you are, and we’ll find a convenient time. Payment is handled at the time of booking to secure your spot, and we’re always happy to answer any questions before you reserve.
